At Broadway Living, we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Who are we?

Broadway Living is a developer of quality, desirable homes in the London Borough of Ealing.  We also own properties which we rent out, acting as landlord in this instance and sell properties under our brand name but on behalf of the London Borough of Ealing (“Ealing Council”).  We are wholly owned by Ealing Council.  Broadway Living is a company registered in England (no 8961320).  The registered address is 4th Floor, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, W5 2HL.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about our projects and services by submitting a contact form or by emailing us directly.

The personal information we collect might include your name, email address, phone number, the projects/properties you’re interested in and any additional information you provide in the message box or via email.

We will use your information to:

  • Send you details of the properties you may be interested in
  • Phone you about properties you may be interested in
  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us (for example if the relationship progresses to a tenancy or purchase of one of our properties – see below under ‘Tenants’);

Sharing data with Ealing Council

Where we are working on behalf of the Council, we will be required in certain circumstances to share your data with them. For example, we will pass relevant details to the Council for the purpose of the Council administering Council tax. We recommend that you read the Council’s own Privacy Notices to ensure that you are familiar with how they will be processing your data.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf:

We may pass/allow access to your information to our third party service providers, agents subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services on our behalf (for example to send you the requested mailings; to deliver property management services to you; to provide sales and marketing services for our properties and projects). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.

Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond our contractual relationships used to deliver our core services for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

External data storage sites – We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Third Party Product or Service Providers we work in association with: We work closely with Ealing Council and partners that provide specialist sales and marketing services for our properties and projects. When you enquire about one of our projects, we may share your information with the relevant third party provider.  That partner will use your details to provide you with information and carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you have entered into with them. In some cases, they will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy. These third party partners may share your information with us which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all of our business and assets to any third party or as part of any business restructuring or reorganisation, or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, of data subjects. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Tenants

Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract: We are legally entitled to process your data as we have a contract (tenancy) with you (as a tenant) and we need to process your personal data to comply with our obligations under that contract.

How you can access and update your information

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction except for in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the law (GDPR). Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 18 or under. If you are aged between 13 and 18‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Broadway Living’s Web site(s) and service(s).  Broadway Living does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.  (See the UK children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.)

As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”).
